there's no way to put this soft: we need your help. we need to buy a new microphone and the cheapest one we can find at the moment that suits what we're planning on doing costs $100 and we need to gather funds which is starting to seem more difficult than we had once thought. for more information scroll down to the microphone section.

sample count
ODDITORYsound has almost hit 1 gigabyte unzipped! for reference, sounds of kshmr vol. 2 is around 1.3 gigabytes unzipped. we aim to hit at least 2 gigs, but whenever we feel burnt out for several weeks we'll probably call it quits... SIKE LMAO y'all really think we take breaks? hell, it isn't even a "we," im literally just a solo academically struggling nonbinary teenager who one day thought "yeah let's make a whole ass sample pack! that's easy, right? kshmr did it lol"
new sounds
i noticed some imbalances with the sample count ratios, there were a crap ton of kicks and snares but hardly any claps, percussions, hats, and sound effects. so, to even this out, i've completely put a stop to production of kicks and snares to prioritize claps, percs, hats, risers, synth loops and oneshots, vocal shots, and other less-populated things.
microphone
for everyone who doesn't know, i buy all of the equipment that i use; my akai midi drumpad, my (shitty) speakers, my headphones, even my daw and microphone. BUT i am a student, so naturally i am broke ^^'
my current microphone likes to cut all frequencies past around 5kHz and that has really hurt production of vocal chops, phrases, and all irl sfx and recordings. if you can, donating or sending my ko-fi link to anyone who can donate would be amazing and i'd probably fight for you and make u pizza n stuff lol
